I read many books, and have never felt the need to submit a review until now.This is the most poorly written book I've ever read. There are tons of grammatical errors - or, as the author would write - ton's. Apostrophes where there should not be. None where there should be. Words are missed entirely. Sentences run on and on without proper punctuation. Thoughts are poorly organized and repeated - has the author forgotten he has already explained this thought in great depth? Plots are very simplistic and many of the conversations between the characters are boring and pointless. His sexualization of issues is amateur and sophomoric(the "rack", the lovely breasts of his wife and her friend, the descriptions of his wife's orgasms while she is practically on death's door - really?).
Does he not have an editor? It is unbelievable that a publisher would not bounce this back for a rewrite, based on grammar alone. Shame on the publisher.
If I could give zero stars, I would.

I read Mr. Zalkins "Dying for Triplicate" and was completely blown away by the inspiration he evoked in me to maintain my 18 month sobriety. Being a twice divorced woman, I decided to read "The Most Selfless Love" to see if Mr.Zalkin could jumpstart my passion in
the matters of the heart..."Selfless" delivered!! As with "Triplicate", Mr.Z again inspired his message of "hope" within me..Hal and Emily exemplify what a true committment is all about..my take on Stiles is that he is a guardian angel that falls in love with them..
although Hal makes the ultimate selfless decision..it is Stiles that makes the ultimate argument to his "boss"...single or in a relationship, this book inspires how respect, love and faith can enrich all our lives.......thank you again mr.z........jude
p.s. only into the first few pages of "Kindred Revenge".....seems like a wild ride........
Started to read before going to Santa Rosa to a wedding. Enjoyed reading while sitting on the little balony at the Vintners Inn. Beautiful setting to enjoy at good book. I don't like to drive, makes me very nervous with all the traffic so I prayed I had a Mr. Freeman on my shoulder. I think we all have someone looking over us. I recommend this book. After reading Todd Zalkins other two books, "Dying For Triplicate" and "Kindred Revenge", I thought I knew what I was getting myself into. Then,Todd threw me a curve. "The Most Selfless Love" tells a wonderful story of Love, Family, and Friendship that reveals Zalkins' softer side. Todd's detailed insights were satisfying and made me want more. After reading "Selfless..", it makes me appreciate my own family even more. Good Job Z-Man, you old softy.
This is a truly amazing love story. Every so often a love story captures our hearts that it becomes more than a story- it becomes an experience to remember forever. this story is proof that love can be ageless and timeless and makes us believe in true love all over again. It will capture the heart of every reader. The timelessness of fate and romance makes is a classic love story. The true epitome of what real love is all about..for better and for worse.. for ever. I absolutely loved this book. I read it is just a few short days after purchasing it. The story pulls you in and begins to pull at your heart strings. It was beautifully written, Todd Z tells a truly unforgettable story. It's the most heartfelt and touching story you will ever pick up. It as an engaging book that anyone could get into. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!
Found this book to be repetitive and slow going. Quite boring, difficult to maintain attention and would not recommend it to readers.
It was a nice story especially if you yourself have been touched by cancer. It is the way we all would like life to pan out - doesn't work like that but it was a touching story about selfless love. I enjoyed it.
I bought the kindle version after reading the gushing reviews... BUT... I have to say... I'm a little disappointed. It's a great story, don't get me wrong, HOWEVER, I'm bothered by the fact that it seems like it was written haphazardly. The flow is choppy, not to mention there are TYPO's and grammatical errors throughout... that indicates to me that the editor didn't do their job... Needless to say, I won't be reading this author's other works. By NO MEANS a 5 star book.
